10:00am in Conference Room A: “Grief and Sadness in Children’s Literature” local author chat with Cindy Baldwin.

11:00am in the Board Room: “Quick Drawing Tips” – Learn some quick drawing tips from established local illustrators, Mark Fearing and Norm Grock. For teens and adults *Registration Required.

11:00am in the Storytime Room: Join us for a special guest Storytime presented by local author Peter McCleery. All ages.

11:00am in Conference Room A: Local author chat on “Plotting vs. Storyboarding vs. Pantsing” presented by Kerry Blaisdell. 

12:00pm in the Community Room: Bring your lunch and participate in Trivia hosted by library staff. 

AFTERNOON EVENTS

1:00pm in the Community Room: “Building a Writing Career from Scratch in Spite of it All” presented by Ken Scholes.

1:00pm in the Board Room: “Young Writers Workshop” - Join us and get your creative thought processes jumpstarted by local authors Carolyn O’Doherty and Cindy Baldwin. Participants will respond to writing prompts and share their writing if they choose. Open to young writers ages 10 and up *Registration required.

1:00pm in the Storytime Room: Join us for a special guest Storytime presented by local author Stephanie Shaw. All ages.

1:00pm in Conference Room A: “Picture Book Pacing and Poetry” local author chat with Addie Boswell. 

2:00pm in the Community Room: “Writing Graphic Novels and Comics” panel with authors Adam Watson, Justin Rueff, and Terri Nelson. 

2:00pm in the Board Room: “Balancing Life and Writing” Q&amp;A session with authors Ken Scholes, Cindy Baldwin and the Macalino authors.

2:00pm in Conference Room A: “Writing Scary Stories for Kids” local author chat with Laurel Gale.

3:00pm in the Community Room: “Writing Picture Books” panel with authors Peter McCleery, Addie Boswell, Raymond Macalino, Mark Fearing, and Stephanie Shaw.
