1st Short Tour & Lunch of the Year
Celebrate the first Saturday of 2026 with an OMS Short Tour and Delicious Lunch
PLEASE RSVP BY 12/29 so we can reserve a table or two!
When: Saturday January 3nd, 2026, @ 10:45AM
Tour: Oregon City Interpretive Center to Stone Cliff Inn, Carver OR
We will be touring to the Stone Cliff Inn for lunch, lunch is on your own, and cash is best as they won’t split checks for large groups.
Then after lunch you are on your own, lots of nice backroads out there.
If the weather is really nice, I might bring "Lucy" out, my 2000 Classic Mini.

Visit the End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center by arriving at 9 AM
The End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center is worth visiting due to the wealth of displays it offers about the history of the Oregon Trail and the town of Oregon City.
Before entering the center, visitors can explore the outside grounds and gardens, where interpretive signs share stories of the Trail, the Tumwater Chinook and Clackamas Indian people, and the settlement of the Willamette Valley.
Additionally, the center features a theater that hosts films, lectures, and dramatic presentations, as well as four miles of interpretive hiking trails, an amphitheater, a wagon encampment for living history demonstrations, and scenic views of the surrounding area.
Visitors can also witness Oregon Trail ruts visible from the center, adding to the historical significance of the site.
