CNC Router Introduction

Take your woodworking to the next level by learning to set up and operate an industrial CNC router. This workshop will prepare you, through hands-on activities, to produce workpieces on our Avid gantry router in sizes up to 48” X 96”. CNC experience is not required.

Topic will include:

· Fixturing options with a vacuum table and adhesives

· Cutting Tools for Routers

· Workpiece and tool setup

· Control software operation

· Program testing

· Discussion of software and skill requirements for independent projects
