Welcome to the new year everyone! Going to kick off this new year with something a bit different  before we head into the crown month.  This Kingdom Level Event will be more battlegame and team oriented. We will be running a Jesters Cap Full Class Team Tournament.  Additionally, we will be running an Althing and a small court at Dragons Forge to close out the day.

***JESTERS CAP CLASS TEAM TOURNAMENT***
This is a bit of an experiment of something I want to host at Winterbash this year.  We are going to do two different tournaments and see how it works for people and what they think about it.  As the greatest aspect of Amtgard battlegaming (IMO) is the teamwork of it all, therefore we are going to host two different class-based team tournaments.

The First tournament is going to be called the “Jester’s Shuffle 5v5”:
Players may choose their class and spell list as normal. All players will be able to play level 6 in their perspective class and placed randomly on an initial team that they stick with throughout the rest of the tournament. Teams may end up with multiple of the same class.

The Second will be called the “Jester’s Vice Team 5v5”:
Players choose their class and teams ahead of time. The arbiter / Tournament runner randomly assigns an archetype from that class that the player must play with/adhere to. With casters, archetype combinations are added into this variable. Teams may only select to have 1 of each class with no repeats.

Additionally, Lenalin has graciously helped orchestrate how this tournament is both written and  provided two google forms URL links to sign up early before the KLE day, that will be distributed to the holdings and on the Blackspire main page.  We will, of course, have sign-ups at the KLE of course (please see the schedule below for sign up times).

***TUNIC CONSTRUCTION ITHRA***
From our Royal Regent:

This class will go over a basic T-tunic pattern that can be made to fit anyone. We will not be sewing, only measuring and going over pattern. I have several partially completed tunics at different stages to help understand the process. Handouts for class will include pattern and assembly instructions. Nothing is required to bring to class (Though your own measuring tape would be helpful).

***COURT***
This will be a rather quick court (hopefully). We will be doing the transition for our new Kingdom Prime Minister and Kingdom Guildmaster of Reeves and seeing Sir Fazadar and Sir Theorum relieve their positions.

A couple of awards we wanted to hand out (if the people are present).
