Many keystone species support specialist native bees and other insects, while also supporting many generalists. Specialist bees require the pollen of specific plants, many of which are keystone species!These plants also support the larvae of 90% of butterfly and moth species. 96% of our native songbird species rely on insects that are supported by keystone native plants.Join our horticulturist, Brandon, for a walk around the nursery to learn about the crucial role these plants play in maintaining the balance of our ecosystem while exploring the beautiful nursery grounds.Don't miss out on this chance to deepen your understanding of the natural world!This event will be held outside, at our nursery. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. The event is rain or shine. We have umbrellas to share, but we encourage you to bring one along. In the event of dangerous weather, we will cancel. A cancellation notice will be sent to the email address you use to register.
