This time, our theme is English Country Garden!About this EventBuffalo’s third Cake Club gathers local bakers for an evening of homemade cakes and good company at Wayland Brewing Company. Doors open at 5 p.m.; the event runs through 7 p.m.This year’s theme is English Country Garden, which you can interpret as loosely or as literally as you like. Think herbs, flowers, greenery, and anything that would grow in a garden! The theme can live in the recipe, the decoration, or both! A cash bar will feature cocktails and mocktails. The entry fee merely covers the expenses of hosting the event. Charmed at the Bar will offer its adorable custom charm bracelets and necklaces!Cake Club is an extension of Bon Appétit Buffalo’s monthly cookbook club! Cake Club is a community-focused event presented by Bon Appétit Buffalo and Christa Glennie (food editor, Buffalo Spree), with support from the team at Wayland.Cake Club is essentially a potluck that supports community and sharing in the City of Good Neighbors. Let’s keep it sweet by being considerate of one another and ensuring that everyone feels welcome.How It WorksCOST: $20.00 per person. REQUIREMENTS: All skill levels welcome. Make the cake you want to experience—sweet or savory, layered or sheet, vegan or otherwise. Every cake gets a place at the table.NO PLUS ONES: Every attendee must be registered and must bring a cake. No exceptions. This is intentional.REGISTRATION: Pre-registration and a made-from-scratch cake are both required for entry.DETAILS: 21+ event.
