Morning Session (9 AM–12 PM)– Fairy Tales & Fables with Kayleigh Vaughn Bring stories to life through art! Campers will explore beloved tales and fables while creating imaginative artwork inspired by characters and themes. Blending creativity and literacy, this camp encourages self-expression, storytelling, and a love for both reading and art.
Afternoon Session (1 PM–4 PM) – Theatre with Herbert Johnson Young performers will build on their skills through character development, simple scripts, and group scenes. With a focus on confidence, teamwork, and creative expression, campers will explore movement, voice, and storytelling while preparing for an end-of-week showcase.


Week 6: Visual Arts & Theatre Camp (Ages 8–12)
Morning Session (9 AM–12 PM) – Theatre with Herbert Johnson Take your performance skills to the next level! Campers will build on theater fundamentals through character development, script work, and scene rehearsal. With a focus on ensemble collaboration, movement, and expressive storytelling, students will prepare for a final showcase that highlights their growth, confidence, and stage presence.
Afternoon Session (1 PM–4 PM)– Imagination & Innovation in Art with Christine Santana Take creativity to the next level in this imaginative and experimental session! Campers will explore a range of styles from the dreamlike worlds of Surrealism (Dalí) to the detailed dot techniques of Pointillism (Seurat), the structured perspective of Realism (Escher), and the bold, graphic style of Pop Art (Warhol). Students will experiment with new techniques and materials while developing problem-solving skills and a unique artistic voice.

$25 Non-refundable registration fee to hold one week of camp. Remaining $120 due one week before camp.
If registering for multiple weeks, please sign up for one week first ($25), then email staff@orangeburgarts.org to add additional weeks. Our team will adjust your registration fee to the $50 multi-week rate.
