Adult Art: Lunch & Learn- Basquiat

Come learn all about New York’s iconic graffiti artist turned painter, Jean-Michel Basquiat. Starring Jeffrey Wright as Jean-Michel and David Bowie as Andy Warhol, “Basquiat” (1996) is artist Julian Schnabel’s first foray into directing. This movie is rated R. Stay after the film to win a copy of Taschen Publishing’s “Jean-Michel Basquiat” by Eleanor Nairne. Lunch will be served. Admission tickets will be available at the Circulation Desk one hour prior to the program and limited to 20 adults.
