Let's make a difference together!a hands-on career exploration and inspiration event for girls in grades 6-12. (note: Our annual Dreams to Reality event has been reimagined into the True North Youth Leadership Conference, and it's all about celebrating female ambition, and more!) During this in-person event, girls interact with professionals, women like you from a wide range of careers, hearing how they prepared for their careers, the work required by their positions, the excitement, and daily realities of their jobs, and more! As a Career Woman volunteer, you have the opportunity to engage the girls by sharing your experiences in an informal, conversational setting as Girl Scouts rotate between professionals. You are encouraged to display items on your table, visual aids and photos etc., to help you share your career.Two sessions to choose from, and lunch is provided for volunteers attending both sessions.
