Orange Christmas Carols will bring the spirit of Christmas to the Botanic Gardens on Saturday 13 December, 2025.
Beginning at 5:30pm, the annual event offers a joyous evening for the whole family, with Christmas carols and entertainment performed by local entertainers, as well as food stalls.
In 2025, entertainment will be provided by:
Canobolas Highland Pipe Band
City of Orange Brass Band
Colour City Dance
Hustle and Heart
David Rose
Murray and the Movers
And, of course, the highlight of the evening will be a special visit from Santa, where he’ll be handing out treats to the kids.
Be sure to bring a picnic blanket, a fold up chair and an appetite for singing together.
This is a free, family-friendly community event proudly hosted by Orange City Council.
WHEN: Saturday 13 December 2025
TIME: 5.30pm to 9pm
WHERE: Orange Botanic Gardens
WHAT TO BRING: A picnic blanket, or fold up chair.
Food and drink stalls will be available. In an effort to make the Orange Christmas Carols more sustainable, single-use plastic candles will not be available for purchase this year. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own light-up or glow items to help reduce waste and support our move towards a more eco-friendly event.
Entry to the Orange Christmas Carols is free, but we kindly encourage a gold coin donation to support the Rural Fire Service.
PARKING: Parking is limited at the Orange Botanic Gardens so people wishing to attend should arrive early and keep in mind the terrain is uneven in some areas, making access more difficult for older people compared to previous events held at the North Court. To ensure everyone’s safety, we ask that guests park responsibly, avoiding dangerous spots around surrounding streets and taking care near the water.
