We’re excited to welcome Ruskin Rowe to the Agrestic stage for the very first time, a rambunctious alt-country duo hailing from the Northern Rivers, NSW, known for heartfelt storytelling, poetic lyrics and soaring vocal harmonies.
You may have caught them on Channel 7’s Growing Home with Jamie Durie, after being invited to write and perform the theme song for the prime-time series. Drawing on influences like Zach Bryan, Of Monsters and Men, Goo Goo Dolls and a touch of Fleetwood Mac, their sound feels both nostalgic and refreshingly modern.
With Matt’s husky baritone paired alongside Ameka’s hauntingly beautiful vocals, this show also marks the return of Matt Boylan Smith to the Agrestic stage, a familiar face whose connection with the room always makes these nights something special.
Fresh off multiple tours across the US, Europe and South America, Ruskin Rowe bring a depth of live performance that’s been earned the hard way. Their debut album You and I explores love, heartache and the search for home, with singles receiving high rotation on commercial and country radio across Australia and internationally.
If you’ve seen Matt here before, you’ll know.
If you haven’t seen Ruskin Rowe yet, this is the night to change that.
