Take your skills further in this relaxing, creative class focused on softcover bookbinding. Students will craft a beautiful pamphlet stitched book using high-quality drawing paper and a paper-based faux leather cover that we’ll decorate in class. Ideal as a sketchbook or travel journal, this class builds on concepts introduced in our Introduction to Bookbinding and pairs well with the Advanced Coptic Bookbinding class. The Introduction to Bookbinding class would be helpful, but it is NOT a requirement to take this class.

Ages: 16+ or 12+ with parent supervision

Instructor: Amanda Squire

Prerequisite: None!
