Guided by professional bonsai artist Alex Stanford, the owner of Northeast Florida's oldest bonsai nursery, you'll learn the essential skills and techniques for styling your very own bonsai tree. No prior experience or tools are required—just bring your enthusiasm and creativity!

We’ll be working with tropical species, which are easy to care for (even if you have a busy schedule). After a brief introduction to the history and fundamentals of bonsai, you'll get hands-on experience potting, pruning, and styling your tree. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with your own personalized bonsai tree to nurture for years to come!

Space is limited, so be sure to secure your tickets early! Tickets cost $75 and are non-refundable reservations. Rescheduling for a beginner workshop on a different day requires a $15 rescheduling fee.

This workshop is hosted outdoors under cover, rain or shine.
