What: A hands-on woodworking workshop where you’ll build a triangular book and tablet assistant with a built-in cup holder, using repurposed pallet timber. Designed to hold your place, support your device, and keep your drink within reach — perfect for everyday use or gifting.

When: Saturday 9th May, 9:30am to 2:30pm

Where: The Shed – 27 Birchington Street, Beckenham

Who: Suitable for all women 18+ 

Facilitator: Trade qualified carpenter and local school workshop technician, Pauline England, will guide members, sharing her wealth of experience and knowledge about all things wood craft!

Price: GWC Members $30 includes take-home book assistant. Non-members $90.

Catering: Tea and coffee included. Bottled water and soft drinks $2 each.

Parking: Free parking is available inside our main gate, along the street, or in the vacant lot beside the premises. 

Other: We recommend bringing a pair of gloves along for breaking down the pallets. Safety glasses and earmuffs provided.
