Our annual two-day event will be held at Pirates Cove, a laid back beach restaurant, in Josephine, AL.
The FUNraiser provides High Hopes 4 Autism, located in Elberta, AL, the funds needed to effectively serve local families impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Each year, the event grows as more people learn about High Hopes 4 Autism and want to support this worthy cause. Last year over 2,000 supporters converged on Pirates Cove for the weekend to raise FUN for a great local organization, raising just over $90,000! This years’ event will consist of two Draw Downs, the grand prize, a brand new JEEP Wrangler, an Art Market, featuring local artists, and 2 days of live music.
About High Hopes 4 Autism
High Hopes 4 Autism was founded in 2009 by Rachael Mueller, BCBA, LBA and Tom Schlinkert. Mrs. Mueller was dedicated to bring some much needed services to her community, while Mr. Schlinkert lent his extensive business expertise. Together they created an asset to not only the families affected by Autism but the entire community.
The organization serves children and families impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorders and other Developmental Delays. They specialize in one on one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) based therapy concentrating on language development and social behavior. Each child’s program is based on their individual needs and utilizes scientifically reviewed procedures and programs. Parents are continuously trained based on their child’s individualized and changing needs
