Calcutta Night – A Casual Drink with “The Boss”

Kick off Mackay Cup Carnival weekend with an evening of laughs, live bidding, and a casual drink with racing legend Glen Boss. He’ll be joining us for a laid-back Q&A where he shares insights and stories from the track.

📝 How the Calcutta Works:
Each Calcutta ticket sold builds the prize pool. After all horses in Saturday’s Mackay Cup are drawn, they go up for auction. The ticket drawer receives 50% of the final bid amount. If they want to “own” their horse, they can buy it back for half the bid.

The result? Fierce bidding, growing prize money, and big thrills as your horse hits the track the next day.

💰 Prize Pool Breakdown:

1st Place Horse wins 100% of the pool.

📚 Books of 10 tickets available for $100.

🍻 Bar open all night.
