We welcome you to an evening of journeying through Yogic Sleep and Soothing Sound with Tilithia and Kevin. Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing have been practiced for centuries as effective tools for holistic healing and personal transformation.
Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra is deeply rooted in ancient Indian wisdom. A unique practice that encourages a state of conscious relaxation, by promoting the perfect balance between rest & awareness. The goal is to relax the body so thoroughly that it enters a healing state, similar to deep sleep, while the mind remains awake and aware; This creates harmony between the body, the mind, & the soul. It is often said that 1-hour of Yoga Nidra is as restorative as 4 hours of sleep!
Sound Bath
Sound is a primal element in the universe that bypasses our minds and can resonate with us on very deep levels. It can ground us to the Earth, open our hearts and lift us into higher states of consciousness. In combining sometimes subtle and sometimes energetic rhythms of crystal and singing bowls, Kevin creates an intuitive, spontaneous and intimate language that accompanies both movement and stillness like a heartbeat.
You will be guided through a short session of gentle stretching to release the day from your bodies and your minds. Next you will flow into a journey, taking you from wakefulness into a dreamlike, hypnagogic state between sleeping and waking, then you will receive the healing frequencies of sound, all before being led back to full awareness-rejuvenated, relaxed and deeply healed in ways simply perfect for you.
Wear comfy clothes, bring water, a yoga mat and anything you need to be perfectly comfortable.
