On this day, sisters in humanity are cordially invited to wear the hijab (headscarf) in support of Muslim women who are being discriminted globally because of their Muslim identity. It is an all-inclusive celebration for non-Muslims and non-hijab-wearing Muslims alike to bring a greater level of cultural awareness and understanding, as well as international solidarity.

At a time when hate crimes continue to rise, it is important for our community to come together and stand in solidarity in the fight against systemic anti-Muslim bigotry - and the only way we can achieve this is by working together.
