Using the great American spirit of Uncle Sam’s America, spend the 4th of July competing in a patriotic-themed scavenger hunt!

Search for random American objects, general (or useless) trivia, and complete patriotic challenges from your very own living room.

From the American flagged umbrella that may be sitting in a random closet to a slice of apple pie, today’s scavenger hunt will center on America’s 244th birthday.   Celebrate the holiday with old friends and many new friends online and push your creativity to beyond its limits!

 

How does it work?

1) Upon starting, we will break you into teams and put you each into a virtual breakout chat room.   Each team will be given a list of several items to retrieve, pictures to take, trivia to learn about each other, and challenges to complete.

2) A team leader will be chosen to help direct their team to college the items.   Each item and challenge will be worth a certain amount of points.   Teams are not expected to retrieve all of the items listed.

3) There will be 2 to 3 different check-ins times during the hunt.  At each time, new curveballs and challenges may be thrown at each team for a chance to win more points.

4). The winning team will be the one that collects the most points. Prizes will be awarded to the top team.

Throughout this adventure, you’ll learn about and explore fascinating subjects of your own home, your neighborhood, and your teammates.   There are over 100 items listed and what you see depends upon your team’s resolve, speed, and ability to have fun!

Note: The race starts at noon sharp!

All attendees will get free special admission to an upcoming TTD event (to be announced on-site).

All chatroom links and invitations will be sent out a few minutes before the event (to ensure only registrants attend).    They will be sent to the email address you use to register for the event.

Any unauthorized person, or any person acting inappropriately during the chat room, or anyone using this as a forum to sell their own services or products will be immediately removed and blocked.
