English, Maths and Science Online Lessons for Years 3-Year 11

About this Event

Beat Covid-19 "Keep up, catch up, stay ahead online"

The news of school closures has left nearly all parents more than a little concerned: How can we ensure our children continue learning in the midst of all this confusion? This burning question is even more important when we consider that the length of restrictions and closure is set to increase too.

Do not fear - a solution is already here! We are now providing weekly online classes for children aged 8-16 in Maths, English and Science. Each week will cover a new topic and follows the national curriculum closely. This means that children will not fall behind and can continue to sharpen their skills in the most popular and important subjects. We have been conducting online classes in these subjects and levels for over 5 years and have a wealth of experience and resources that can be beamed directly into your home. Our team of Online Super Tutors are waiting to help your child to learn in an engaging and highly effective manner, utilising a wide range of techniques, materials and online tools. This will not only ensure that they don't fall behind, but also they will get ahead of the learning curve using our unique programs.

What will my child be studying?

Your child has the option of studying any of these subjects: Maths, English and Science. Take a moment to have a look at the attached brochures which show all topics studied for each subject. There is a brochure for primary school study (Key Stage 2) and one for secondary school up to GCSE (Key Stages 3 & 4). Please note that each summary is not exhaustive and the syllabuses are flexible. This means that we may add additional topics wherever necessary and depending on exam boards.

How the Classes are Structured?

Working on a monthly basis, each week usually focuses on a different topic, and may also include a review of the previous week. On the 4th lesson of the month, there is a mini assessment of the topics covered during that month. This allows us to give you feedback regarding progress and to make recommendations, based on performance, for any independent study required to help consolidate knowledge. Although we will revise topics, we will continue through the National Curriculum based syllabuses consistently, so we will not repeat topics again until a later stage. After each session, we will provide you with related online resources and activities to continue to build upon what has been taught in class.

How do classes work?

Students will take live online classes with a tutor in small groups of 2-3 students. This ensures a dynamic environment for children to learn and also allows for each child to receive enough attention. We will be using an online interactive whiteboard called Idroo alongside reputable and secure Google Meet for video calling. Joining lessons is as simple as clicking one link.

When are the classes and how much do they cost?

Classes run every week with whole days dedicated to each subject: Mondays for science, Wednesdays for English and Fridays for maths. Each year group has its own time slot.

For our maths, English and science classes, our prices start at £100 per month per subject and are dependent on the year group and how many subjects you would like your child to partake in. Please note that the monthly fee per subject includes one hour per week for that subject, with a 10% discount for each additional subject you take up. For example, one subject for a year 3 or year 4 child costs £100. Two subjects costs £190. And if you take all three subjects, the cost is £280:

How do I book a space?

You can book a trial session in either Maths, English, or Science.

Please note, we have limited spaces per class. Thus, booking a ticket through Eventbrite does not automatically qualify for a lesson. Once you book a free trial lesson, we will contact you and confirm your booking and time slot within 2-5 working days.
