This five-week program combines online education and webinars to provide you with a study choice that fits your schedule. I’ve been working as an RN for 10 years and have often felt ill-equipped to speak with my Spanish speaking patients because I was not familiar with the medical terminology. In fact I often used an interpreter because I did not want to get anything wrong. However, after taking this course I have the confidence I need to carry on medical conversations with my patients. Since taking this course I’ve been able to qualify to work officially as a medical interpreter within my medical center. The instructor was knowledgeable of the language and culture and had a beautiful accent!" Irene S., RN, BSN</blockquote>
If you missed any webinars, you will have a chance to view the recording until December 6, 2021.
The goal of the Spanish for Healthcare Providers: Part 2 (Intermediate) Focused CE Series is to review the fundamentals of Spanish covered in the part 1 series, to facilitate an intermediate level of learning medical Spanish for healthcare professionals.
