San Diego Black Women Entrepreneurs Summit Series (3 of 4), 27 January | Online Event | AllEvents.in San Diego Black Women Entrepreneurs Summit Series (3 of 4)
Sister Cities Project is inviting you BACK (part 3) to hear from black women entrepreneurs with a focus on HUMAN CAPITAL + POLICY.

About this Event

If you enjoyed our first two series, please register and come back for our third discussion (of four total) on January 27th where we'll talk about Human Capital and Policy.

We are excited to introduce to 4 more amazing black women entrepreneurs in January!

Who is Sister Cities Project?

(SCP) is a non-profit organization founded by Shawn McClondon and supported by residents from Solana Beach 4 Equality, Encinitas 4 Equality and Del Mar pushing for greater diversity and racial equity in San Diego County and beyond. One of the goals of SCP is to provide, support, and create an atmosphere in which economic and community development can be implemented and strengthened.

Sister Cities Project (SCP) understands the vital role we can play locally by supporting black women owned businesses in underserved communities. The majority of our impact work is focused on this demographic of important entrepreneurs.

To gain first-hand insight, SCP is hosting the first ever San Diego Black Women Entrepreneurs Summit Series. This event will bring together prominent black women entrepreneurs into a series of four panel discussions, with influential guest speakers and black women entrepreneurs. This event will be moderated by two San Diego powerhouses, , CEO of the Multi-Cultural Convention Services Network, and , Chief Ecosystem Architect for Sister Cities Project and D4 Diamond BID. We will take a deep dive into our panelists' journey.

Attendees of this Summit will gain insight, knowledge and resources directly from:

  • Black Women Leaders
  • Black Women Entrepreneurs
  • Important Stories from Black Women
  • Challenges that Black Women Entrepreneurs face
  • Opportunities Black Women Entrepreneurs see for their Organizations

Please follow us on Instagram (@SisterCitiesProject) for more information.

Thank you to our sponsors and partners: Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses, San Diego Workforce Partnership, Southeastern Diamond Business District, Multi-Cultural Convention Services Network, Urban Alchemy 360.
