Teachers for the workshop: Michael Burns and Akshay Gajria
Michael Burns Ph.D. is the founder of Tall Tales and a film maker author writing coach and university professor. He has worked with hundreds of writers and has edited thousands of stories. As a film maker his work has been seen in over twenty countries.

Akshay Gajria is a Bombay-based writer live storyteller editor and writing coach. His short stories are widely published and converted into internationally acclaimed short films.

Recommended age for the workshop is 17 and up.

The workshop features dozens of exercises games group work and topics of discussion designed to teach you how stories are structured and how you can transform your writing immediately. From how to create unforgettable characters to how to breathe life into the architecture of your world building this workshop walks you through more than ten of the essential pillars of narrative design.
And it's all designed for writers of ANY level of experience. Have never tried your hand at creative writing? You've come to the right place. This is a welcoming encouraging and supportive atmosphere for everyone. Have lots of experience writing for yourself or others? You've also found the perfect place to spend your weekend. You'll expand your skill set and learn all kinds of ways to develop and professionalize your repertoire even more.

Agenda: The Map - Learn the details of the universal narrative structure and why it's critical to understanding stories.

The link to join the workshop on Zoom will be provided to all the participants on the 11th of December. A computer with a working webcam and microphone are required alongside a stable internet connection.

The registration fees for the workshop is ₹2500. Only fully registered participants will be allowed.

Note: For Tall Tales alumni who have taken our flagship two-day workshop in the last one year you are welcome to come for free. Just email us to tell us you're coming. Remember this offer only applies to people who have taken the Tall Tales Workshop in the year before cross referenced with our list of alumni.
