Yoga Nidra means ‘yogic sleep’- a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. It is a sleep-based meditation technique. One 40-minute session of Yoga Nidra is the equivalent to 2-3 hours of sleep
Yoga Nidra can be practiced lying or sitting down. You can even practice from the comfort of your own bed! With the optional use of props such as pillows, blankets and bolsters to support the body, the idea is to be SUPERBLY COMFORTABLE FOR THE ENTIRE PRACTICE.
