Hands and feet are very important in a physical yoga practice, but often neglected whilst striving to move into the many 'shapes' of yoga. As well as yoga poses (or asana) we need strength, tone and flexibility in our hands and feet to function in everyday life.
In this 90 minute workshop we will give hands and feet the love they deserve; learning how to engage, build up strength and protect the often fragile ankle and wrist joints, before taking our new found awareness and skills in to an all levels yoga flow.
Everyone is welcome to this workshop including beginners.

I discovered yoga again about 6 years ago when I went to a yoga retreat in Italy with a friend. On my return I found an amazing local yoga teacher who encouraged me to study yoga further, so I completed a module in yoga looking more at the philosophy and establishing a regular home practice digging a little bit deeper than my weekly class.
When I retired from a long career as a nurse, midwife, heath visitor, nurse practitioner and aesthetic business owner, I decided to dig deeper into yoga, so completed yoga teacher training in Vinyasa and Yin at Yoga Hero in Leeds with the wonderful Holly and Angela.
I specialise in slow mindful yoga with a twist - ( I don’t want it to be boring ). I have a passion for health and wellness. Yoga has helped my mind body and breath and I want it help yours!
