Release physical, mental, and emotional stress in a mindful way with support. TRE/ (tension-trauma release exercises) is a natural healing method for lifelong self-care.
What is TRE®?
TRE® uses seven exercises to release the psoas muscle, the deepest and largest muscle in the body. This powerful muscle holds physical, emotional, and mental stress that we carry in our bodies over the course of our lives.
How does TRE® work?
The exercises are gentle, easy to learn, and are a simple form of stretching. Each major muscle group of the lower body are fatigued to induce a natural muscular shaking process called tremoring.
What will I experience in a TRE® session?
Typically people experience tremors in their legs, hips, and abdomen during their first session. After practicing TRE consistently, people experience tremors up the spine, in the cranium, arms and at any point of restriction in the body. Experiences may also be an emotional, mental, or energetic discharge.
What are the benefits of TRE®?
Some of the many reported benefits of this practice include:
-improved sleep -decreased stress and anxiety -increased flexibility -healing of old injuries -increased resilience -increased relaxation -improved awareness of the body and mind -reduced muscle & back pain -relief from chronic medical conditions -decreased PTSD symptoms
Not recommended if you are pregnant, have had a recent injury or surgery, have epilepsy, or untreated high blood pressure.

2. Guided body scan
3. TRE exercises and up to 20 min. tremoring with modifications, self-regulation, and feedback.
4. Grounding, suggestions, sharing, Q&A
*a space to comfortably lie down (carpet, floor with a rug, thick blanket, yoga mat, etc.)
*anything that will assist your tremoring session (pillows, cushions, aromatherapy, light background music, etc.)
*a wall to hold onto for exercise #2 and the wall sit
*a glass or bottle of water nearby (to clear your energy and ground during or after the session)
*a space free from distractions (phone, noise, people walking in. Pets are welcome!)
*a space to set up your laptop/computer/iPad.
