Experience a dozen first dates in one evening as you join other single young professionals for a chance to find romance in TTD’s speed dating – and this time, even if you do not get a match, we have arranged for you to pass special messages to that special someone you may want to meet

Here’s how it works:

SPEED DATING: For the first hour, we put a single man and a single woman in one of 50 different breakout rooms.     Every four to five minutes, we will rotate men between the different chat rooms so that each person gets the chance to meet about one dozen potential mates. Each person should write down the name of anyone whom they would like to see again and email us to us after the event.  We sort through them, and a few days after the event, we email any mutual matches.

After the Speed Dating, we will have random group outings, where we will mix and match different singles in groups of 6 or 8 into different chat rooms.   This way you can potentially meet people you haven’t met before in a group setting.

SECRET ADMIRER: What if you don’t get a response from that special someone>   so, for the next three days after the event, you will have the opportunity to email events@thingstodoDC.com and asking us to help you – the secret admirer – make a connection. Simply email us the following information:

1) The name of the person you want to connect with.
2) Your email address
3) a private message for that person

Though we will respect the person’s privacy and not email you back their email address or other contact information, we will pass your email along (with your email address and other contact info. you provide) and let fate take over.

All chatroom links and invitations will be sent out a few minutes before the event (to ensure only registrants attend).    They will be sent to the email address you use to register for the event.

Any unauthorized person, or any person acting inappropriately during the chat room, or anyone using this as a forum to sell their own services or products will be immediately removed and blocked.
