We will start with the basic forms of flourishing using the pointed pen, how to add flourishes to your letters and how to create decorative flourishes. At the end of this 5 hour workshop, you will get to design your own flourished piece calligraphy.Note :- Some experience in pointed pen calligraphy will be helpful. We highly encourage you to use your own pen, nibs and ink as we’d like for you to work with whatever you’re comfortable with.The workshop fee covers the following:1) Basic shapes and curves of flourishing2) How to add them to Capital Letters and Small letters3) Floral designs: - vines, leaves, berries, wheat sheaves, feathers, wreaths, and floral bouquets.4) How to add them to your Calligraphy Names and Quotes5) How to make border design with Floral elements. 6) Finally we do one flourished piece calligraphyMaterial you need for this workshop :-oblique or straight holderNib any kind but should be flexiblepencil and pensBrush pens any brandGood ink or metallic inksRulerTissues papersbottle of water for cleaning nib*Please note: This is not a letter-forms class.
