Experience exotic and enchanting moments with two Korean stories which originated from shamanistic ritual songs. They have been performed by shamans and pansori singers and handed down from mouth to mouth until today. Seung Ah is going to show how she has combined Korean storytelling style with western storytelling techniques for her global audience.

About the Facilitator:
A pioneer who introduced storytelling as an art form in Korea, Seung Ah Kim is the first contemporary professional storyteller of Korea and the founder of Arirang Storytelling and K-Storytelling World Tour Project. She has performed in more than 18 countries on 5 continents. In 2019 she received a Global Culture Award as a cultural storyteller ambassador at the first Arirang Korea Award. She founded Arirang Storytelling in memory of her grandmother.

2 days ago Lavanya has a very engaging style of storytelling. I really enjoyed the well researched take on the winged friends of Rama. It was ingenious and flowed wonderfully as a tale! I look forward to other events and tellings by her.
