- **Event Description**: Learn how to create your own one of a kind leather and bead memory wire bracelet. A memory wire bracelet is a wrap bracelet that has multiple rounds like a coil and retains its shape, even when stretched. Your instructor will guide you in how to choose your materials, how to lay out your design, and how to string and finish your piece. Your kit will come with enough materials to make two bracelets. This is a fun and relaxing activity for those who are interested in jewelry making. Its also a great class for jewelry makers who want to learn a new style of the craft. Taught by Rosanne of Something Beadafull.HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASSThis class is available to take In Person at our Montclair NJ Shop, or online Virtually on Zoom. For the Virtual class participants can opt to take the class with a DIY Kit or choose to receive a shopping list.IN PERSON CLASSIf a participant chooses to take the class In Person, then they are taking the class at our shop located at 547 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair NJ. For In Person Classes, materials will be provided at the shop.VIRTUAL CLASSIf a participant chooses to take the class Virtually, they will receive a Zoom link. For Virtual Classes a participant can choose to receive a DIY Kit or a Shopping List.To receive your DIY Kit in a timely manner, register at least a week or earlier in advance to reserve your materials for shipping or local curbside pick up. Please provide your shipping address when registering.DIY Kit includes 2 Memory Wire Coils (two and four round), Precut Leather (3” strands), 14 Leather Caps, Various BeadsParticipants will need a Memory Wire Finishing Plier. This tool will be available for purchase at checkout. Participants who register for a Virtual class with a Shopping List will be emailed a list of materials, utensils, appliances, and other items needed to participate in the workshop. Participants are responsible for sourcing their materials in time for class. Participants are welcome to contact us for recommendations as to where they can source their materials.APPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATIONParticipants must be at least 16 years old and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket.CLASS PARTICIPATIONThis is a Live event. In Person and Virtual Class Participants must attend on the scheduled date and time of the class in order to partake. There is no recorded session available for replay. If an In Person Participant is unable to attend the class in Person they can request to join the class Virtually and we can arrange accommodations. If a Virtual Class participant is unable to log onto a class on the day and time it is scheduled then it is the participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event for accommodations. If a participant is unable to join and needs to reschedule, there is a rescheduling fee that will be billed to the participant. If we as the organizers need to reschedule an event there is no rescheduling fee, and participants will be notified of any changes.INTERNATIONAL VIRTUAL PARTICIPATIONIf you live outside of the United States there is an additional fee to ship DIY kits. Participants are responsible for any duty fees, customs fees, or any additional fees associated with receiving their DIY Kits.
