Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD), like Buprenorphine, methadone, and naltrexone have been proven to reduce overdose and death and providers that hold a DEA license with Schedule III Authority can prescribe Buprenorphine. Ensuring prescribers have the knowledge to initiate MOUD is imperative to helping patients with opioid use disorder. Q&A and discussion to follow.https://michigan-open.org/Financial Incentive:BCBSM will provide a $250 incentive to Primary Care Providers (Physicians and Advanced Practice Professionals) who attend this MOUD training.
