About this Event

Join us on a journey of exploration as we introduce ArcGIS Online Map Viewer by accessing various data sources, applying filters, creating pop-ups and more. This interactive, step-by-step workshop will look at Laura Secord’s fateful journey from Queenston, Ontario to Thorold, Ontario on June 22, 1813 as the subject matter. Watch as her historic trip comes to new life using GIS technologies!

The follow-up workshop will see the adventure continue by creating an ArcGIS StoryMap for presenting narrative text, images, maps and more regarding the subject matter.

No experience with ArcGIS is required to attend this workshop.
