This session is Day 4 in an extended series called Go Make Something, sponsored by the Arts Council for Long Beach.
Jose Angel Castro will briefly introduce the concept and importance of mindfulness practice both as selfcare and as a means to facilitate creativity. This session will feature a series of progressive sensory mindfulness exercises in 4 rounds. Mindfulness practice is simple, really. It is the deliberate act of paying deep attention to the moment you’re in right now for the purpose of regulating and resetting our mental, emotional, physical state. There’s no magic to it, just practice.
