The blackletter lines are broken up; that is, their forms contain many angles when compared to the other blackletter scripts.The first Fraktur typeface arose in the early 16th century, when Emperor Maximilian I commissioned the design of the Triumphal Arch woodcut by Albrecht Dürer and had a new typeface created specifically for this purpose, designed by Hieronymus Andreae. Fraktur is still very famous is 20th century for making logos, used as headlines and titles, nameplates of houses and studios plus for decorating purposes. Now days Every artist have there own versions of fraktur.
