Potential discussion items include: attracting and selecting team members, clarifying roles, creating connection, developing skill redundancy, allocating work assignments, and finding meaning in our work.Ben Tustison is a principal with MBK Engineers and has extensive experience representing clients with complex flood management concerns, including participation on planning and project management teams and technical workgroups, coordinating with agency personnel, facilitating regulatory compliance, and providing support for litigation. Ben's specialized expertise is with reservoir operations and hydrology, where he has provided community leadership on important topics, such as forecast-informed reservoir operations. Additionally, Mr. Tustison has performed numerous hydrologic studies for regulatory compliance, often involving FEMA and California's Urban Level of Flood Protection (ULOP) criteria.Ben is registered as a Civil Engineer in the states of California and Minnesota. He has been an active FMA member since starting at MBK in 2001 and has regularly participated in annual conferences, monthly luncheons, and charitable endeavors through the organization. He is also a member of both the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Society of American Military Engineers, and has achieved Diplomate status from the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers.
