Many businesses continuously email their customers about sales. But effective business owners design emails with simple, clear messages of value to their customers.
This course will teach you the key types and components of effective marketing emails. By the end of this course, you will be able to:
• Determine what content and when your business should email customers
• Identify the components of simple, clear, value-driven email
• Build and grow your email list with best practices
• Execute your own email marketing plan
A computer is recommended, but not required, for this course.
This course is the fifth module in the NYC Department of Small Business Services’ (SBS) six-module Digital Marketing series. We encourage you to complete the four prior modules – “Developing a Marketing Strategy,” “Creating Content Your Customers Value,” “Building Your Own Business Website,” and “Search Engine Optimization (SEO) – before you take this course.
