In this class, we will draw simplified human figures and have a closer look at how we can draw expressive hand poses. In the second half of our session we will draw them out 3-dimensionally and add them to a simple body posture.
For intermediate: If you already have some experience you can draw the figurine and play around with colour and shading and with adding more detail.
You’ll need: pencil and paper, coloured pencils and felt tip pens if you like to add colour or to emphasize some of your lines.
Participants will be sent a Zoom link shortly before the event, with a reminder link on the day.
There is no right and wrong in your art journey. I encourage character drawings and creativity, rather than accuracy. The action of drawing itself is what I love most. It is both absorbing and relaxing.
Over time I will teach you how to draw and paint from your imagination with results that are truly original to yourself.
All my courses include some easy basic shape study as a warm up. Don‘t forget: Drawing is a way of thinking. Can‘t wait to draw along with you.
