Enjoy a drawing lesson inspired with a work of art at the Meadows Museum with artist and educator Ian M. O’Brien. Each session will provide an opportunity to explore a variety of techniques and improve drawing skills. This program is appropriate for children ages 6–12, but will be most successful for children ages 8–12. Participants provide their own paper, pencil, and eraser.
Registration is limited to 8 households and sessions are taught via Zoom.
About the Instructor
Ian M. O’Brien, a local artist and arts educator, received his MFA in studio art from UT San Antonio. He also has a BFA in drawing/painting and arts education. O’Brien has over 15 years of teaching experience, ranging from K–12, higher education, and museum education. O’Brien has spent the last 10 years teaching workshops and Drawing from the Masters at the Meadows Museum as well as working as an art educator for Lewisville ISD.
