"Locked-up" at home for 56 days, she wrote these pieces to cheer up her friends and business associates; and to counter all the gloom and doom that is in the news. Though the incidents in Diary of a Former Covidiot are all based on real incidents that have happened, the characters have been slightly exaggerated, as this is after all, a book of humour.Join us online as we discuss the book with the author!About the AuthorChristina Thé wears many hats. She is an amiable observer of people who has experienced life in several continents. As a soprano she trained at London’s Royal Academy of Music and has enjoyed singing at the Carnegie Hall in New York. Today, she regularly appears in Singapore’s opera scene and writes humorous realistic fiction while leading life as a modern single mother. Important Notes on RegistrationThe zoom link will be sent to registered participants by noon of event day.If you had registered but do not receive the zoom link by noon of the event day, please contact the organiser at pearly_ma@nlb.gov.sg at least 3 hours before the event. Please check that the zoom link did not go to your spam box. About Singapore Literature Book ClubFrom NLB’s Singapore collection comes a book club with a unique local flavour.
