CREATIVE TEA: Free creative workshops in Clapham Park for all ages | Online Event | AllEvents.in CREATIVE TEA: Free creative workshops in Clapham Park for all ages
Come join Clapham Park neighbours in free workshops every month. Get creative, have a natter and be around people again (safely). All ages.

About this Event

Come join Clapham Park Creative Co-op & neighbours in free creative workshops either online or in person at the Clapham Park Cube (depending on current Government Guidelines).

Every last Saturday of the month we will be getting together with Clapham Park neighbours learn new creative skills, have a natter and be around people producing something wonderful together. Each month we will be working on a collaborative 'artwork' that tells a story about Clapham Park, exploring home, history and community, to be exhibited as part of a community exhibition in Spring 2021.

The creative activity for each month will be listed here as we develop them. Further details can be found on our website.

  • Hand-embroidering photographs of the buildings in Clapham Park Estate. Face-to-face workshop hosted at the Clapham Park Cube.
  • Receive an Art-Kit at home and join us online to continue our photo-embroidery project. Online workshop hosted on Zoom.
  • December (Online) // CREATIVE GIFT EXCHANGE MEET-UP // Be part of our Creative Gift Exchange with Clapham Park neighbours. You can create anything you like: drawing, poetry, collage, even just a quote. We will be meeting online to create together, share ideas for home made gifts and talk about being creative at home.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE_ Everyone is welcome! But please note you will need some art supplies:

  • Clapham Park area neighbours can request our free photo-embroidery Art Kit delivered to your house, and we’ll pick up the finished piece when you’re done! E
  • If you are joining us from elsewhere, we will be sharing a list of what you need next week so you can order the supplies in time for the workshop.
