Class schedule and summary:
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CEU will continue with a virtual platform this Fall. Presentations will be sent ahead of time and will be followed by a live discussion session via Teams.
Eight live discussion sessions beginning September 21, 2021-November 23rd, 2021: Sessions are from 12-1:00 pm Tuesdays weekly for the duration of the program. This will be an online session through Teams. We will send out all calendar invitations ahead of time. Presentations will be uploaded to a shared Microsoft Teams channel each week.
Community Engagement University is a free, hands-on, interactive program for Kansas City, Missouri, residents 18 years of age and older. The sessions cover basic knowledge of the City’s functions and operations. The class size is limited to the first 30 residents enrolling.
Participants are encouraged to attend all live Teams discussions to get the most from the program. Participants need to attend seven of the eight sessions to graduate with a certification.
