Climate change is an issue that everyone is talking about, but it can be hard to identify practical steps that your organisation can put in place. This online session will look at:
How funders are increasingly looking for organisations to have an effective environmental policy
What elements should be in a contemporary and meaningful environmental policy
How can you engage the communities you serve in making a difference
Ten achievable and practical things you can do to make a difference
The session will be especially useful for organisations that do not currently have an environmental policy or procedures, or are looking to update existing ones to reflect the declaration of a climate emergency.
This event is free to voluntary and community organisations operating in Newcastle and Gateshead. There are a limited number of spaces and they are in high demand. Please confirm if you are unable to attend this event by giving at least 48 hours notice. Email Y29ubmVjdCB8IGNvbm5lY3RlZHZvaWNlICEgb3JnICEgdWs= to let us know or cancel your booking on Eventbrite.
