- **Event Description**: Charcoal is one of the oldest elements used and versatile medium to create some fabulous paintings. Charcoal is a form of dry art medium made of finely ground organic materials that are held together by a gum or wax binder.

Designed for absolute beginners, in these 2 days of guided workshop, we will cover the following:
* Introduction to the charcoal and required accessories
* Demonstrations and an explanation of every step including the drawing.
* You will learn how to make your own stump powder and method to use it.
* How to use charcoal for shading, blending and detailing.
* How to play with the tonality in the sketches to give them a realistic effect.
* We will focus especially on the effect of light and shade as well as on gradations and variation of charcoal.
* Creation of a realistic charcoal artwork.

Deliberately relaxing, intentionally directing your attention while creating beautiful artwork is an empowering and uplifting experience. This workshop takes your mind off other things – a chance to relax, de-stress, helps in hand eye coordination and stimulates creative thought flow.

Medium of Instruction: English. Also you will get an opportunity to learn Therapeutic Mandala Art for FREE from a pre-recorded session which you can watch anytime at your convenience.

No previous art experience needed – Adults and Children above 8 years are welcome.

When: 22nd & 23rd May 2021, Saturday & Sunday 11 am to 1 pm IST
Fees: Rs.799/- without materials.

Join us Online for creating stunning monochromes with charcoal. The workshop will be headed by our In-house Artist Mrs. Sumana of V Learn Arena. She is a professional artist with more than 10 years of experience in this art world.
Don’t forget to secure your spot by registering ahead of time.

Once fees paid, you will be added to our Private Facebook Charcoal Art Group and WhatsApp group as well, and material list will be shared immediately, which you can procure in stores available near your place or ONLINE. The materials required for this workshop will cost you less than INR 300. The LIVE session will also be recorded and shared. It will be available for a month's access to watch & art anytime at your convenience. *No refunds on purchased tickets are possible.

e-Certificate will also be provided to participants on completion of their art work.
