                "description": "Yoga with Priyanka is a journey of self-discovery through the tradition of yoga. She is certified as a 700hr yoga teacher. She is an E-RYT 200 hr + 500 RYT Kundalini Teacher (700 hr RYT). \n\nPriyanka Devi Gupta, from India, now residing in Canada started practicing yoga in 1994, as a way to navigate the stresses of being a teenager (depression, self-esteem, anger etc). The plan was never to teach…here she is more than a decade later...\n\n In 2012, She received her accreditation at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Meenakshi Ashram in Tamil Nadu, India. Her journey led her to explore Ashtanga yoga in Mysore under Pattabhi Jois’s daughters tutelage. In 2010 she completed her first vipassana meditation course under Sri Goenka's guidance, and there was no looking back. She simultaneously exposed herself to other forms of yoga such as Jivamukti, Anusara, Acro yoga, and even attended the odd goat yoga class. Having taught for over 10 years in India to a niche community, she has amassed over 15k teaching hours (E-RYT200hrs). Her classes are a blend of traditional Hatha/Vinyasa and Ashtanga (both the practice and the 8 limb philosophy).\n\n She has successfully completed studying on a full scholarship with the MMTCP program (2025 cohort), and successfully completed 500hr certification. Kundalini yoga (500 hr certification). This makes her an E-RYT 200 hr + 500 RYT Kundalini Teacher (700 hr RYT). \n\nIn addition to this, Priyanka is also the lead trainer for Everlimitless (based out of the USA) and has partnered up with Tracy to offer 200 hr Yoga Teacher Certifications (YTTC) for aspiring yogis, starting this fall in 2024.  An online course spread over 6 months where aspiring yogis start to teach by the 3rd module - no other course provides this option.\n\nPriyanka is a dedicated yoga and meditation/Mindfulness certified instructor, who has shared her skills with clients in her homeland of India and abroad since 2012. \n\nHer passion for yoga is contagious and classes are designed to help students of all levels find inner peace and balance. Priyanka's teaching style is a blend of traditional Hatha/Vinyasa flow, and Ashtanga (philosophy from the 8 limbs) in classes that are dynamic and challenging, yet accessible to all levels.
