May we accept the Truths that trigger our fear & push against our comfort zones. Many of us are beginning to realize the ways that our comfort zone may benefit some of us but harm others. We are awakening to greater truths & love. May we build upon them and walk across the bridge that we build together to a better world.~ Love, Diana

In recent days, America has collectively spiraled through a myriad of emotions: anger, grief, hopelessness, fear, denial, guilt, blame, and more. In the midst of all of this uncertainty – a Ray of Hope shines through! Many Americans have responded to the clarion call for reform and social justice. Can We Talk? offers every person who attends the opportunity to participate more fully in our collective evolution of consciousness.

All of us were taught that this country was founded upon the ideals of opportunity and equality. This has not proven true for black people and other communities of color. America’s growth and spiritual evolution are tied to the promise of living those values. It’s time for us to step up to the plate. This forum is not a debate about our history or about blame or shame. It offers a platform for educational and thought-provoking conversations.

Many of Diana's white peers have expressed that they want to be part of the change but don’t know where to begin. Diana feels that change begins with self-exploration, deep listening, and the willingness to learn and unlearn. We will practice all of those. We hope that this will evolve into a monthly group for continued dialogue and healing. Please join us! Racism is real. It impacts everyone. We will explore how racism negatively impacts us all and how to heal it in our discussions. Our well-being is inextricably tied with the well-being of our society. As we heal – the heart of America heals!


This class will be offered online through a Zoom meeting. Please register in advance. About an hour before class you will receive an emailed invitation with the login link and/or phone number. You do not need to have your own Zoom account. If you register close to class start we will email you the invitation as quickly as possible. 

A portion of the proceeds from Can We Talk? support the efforts of NoKidHungry.org to help end childhood hunger. Covid-19 closed the schools and impacted the food programs that supplied the only substantial meal for many children in disadvantaged areas. NoKidHungry.org and others stepped in to fill that gap nationwide.
