Some of the methods offered to teach how to get mind rest are not working simply because they requre a bit of skill and that's why you might have been dissapointed with them.
What's different here is that no entry level skills are required exercises are simple and tested for many years - proved to work and bring results of calming down the mind.
If your head feels like an everspeedling rollecoaster you're probably suffering from anxiety. It's easy be be confused exhausted and feel down most of the time. Mind is like a musicle with it's functioning - it needs to rest.
When the mind is quiet (rests) the landscape of your inner experience changes. There is suddely a room for rest recognising acknowledging pausing responding and much much more peace.
