Though she's sometimes refered to as a virgin deity, many interpret this to mean that she is self-belonging - a being who represents feminine freedom and boundless agency. She is a guardian of girls and adolescents, a steward of wild spaces, and a skilled huntress who shoots her arrows with precision and intention. In her lunar guise as Apollo's sister (and her Roman incarnation Diana) she's a source of light in darkness who can help us connect to our intuition and the great mysteries. As we consider this collective moment we're currently in - where bodily autonomy is under threat and Mother Nature is being pillaged and plundered - Artemis can help fortify our protective powers so we might better take care of ourselves, our wildlife, and each other.In this richly illustrated online presentation, world-renowned witchcraft expert Pam Grossman will explore the ways one can work with Artemis to set impactful intentions, strengthen one's sense of self-empowerment, and protect vulnerable beings of all species. Incorporating art, ritual, poetry, and myth, Pam will delve deeply into Artemis's various magical aspects, symbols, and mystic gifts.
