I am pleased to have my friend and fellow artist, SaraMarie lead us in making collage art!Collage Playtime is open to all experience levels!In this Art Hour, SaraMarie will lead us in simple collage experiments playing toward a finished piece. We will learn about approachable ways to find satisfying compositions, colors, and shapes. You will need a piece of paper or cardboard, a glue stick or tape, and scissors. She grew up in San Diego and moved to the East Coast for university, where she’s happily lived among the trees since. After receiving a BA in Peace and Justice Studies and a BFA in Studio Art from Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston she pursued her passions in various career directions before bringing it all together to focus on art full time. I’ll then lead a creative project using materials you have around the house or are easy to find. Finally, we’ll conclude with an opportunity to share and reflect on the experience.Making art is a form of self-care. Art Hour allows you to make something of your own while sharing virtual space with others. Art Hour is designed for those who say “I’m not creative”.
