AIA Kentucky/AIA Indiana presents the 2020 Convention Webinar Series

About this Event

The AIA Kentucky/AIA Indiana 2020 Convention planned for this September has been postponed until September of 2021.

This webinar series will provide AIA members with a selection of CE courses initially scheduled to have been presented at the 2020 AIA Kentucky/AIA Indiana Convention. Environmental, Social, and Professional Resilience are each covered within this webinar series.

The Series will take place Tuesdays at 11:30 am (EDT) and Thursdays at 4:00 pm (EDT) beginning on August 6th and will end on September 29th. CE credits will be documented for individuals who register through this Eventbrite registration only. This registration will allow registrants access to the full series. Registration for individual presentations is not available. Certificates of Completion are available upon request for individual programs.

A total of 17 LUs may be earned. 12 HSW LUs are available.

Thursday, August 20th at 4:00 pm EDT – Janet McCabe, director of the Environmental Resilience Institute at Indiana University and a professor of practice at the IU McKinney School will present - Using Downscaled Climate Projections to Plan a Resilient Built Environment 1 HSW/ LU

Tuesday, August 25th at 11:30 am EDT – John Waters, EFO. MA, MS will present - Automatic Sprinklers in Existing Buildings 1 HSW/ LU

Thursday August 27th at 4:00 pm EDT – Nick Rogers, PE, and Sarah Lamere, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, will present - A laboratory for WELL and Sustainable Learning 1 HSW/ LU

Tuesday, September 1st at 11:30 am EDT – Rachel Worley, AIA will present - Starting and Maintaining a Successful Architecture Practice 1 AIA LU

Thursday, September 3rd at 4:00 pm EDT - Jeffrey Johnson, AIA and Assistant Professor Brent Sturlaugson, UK College of Design will present – The Somewhere Project 1 HSW/ LU

Tuesday, September 8th at 11:30 am EDT -Matthew Brooks, AIA will lead the presentation - Fabritecture – The Future of Architecture and Fabrication 1 AIA LU

Thursday, September 10th at 4:00 pm EDT - Daniel O. Ware, AIA, LEED AP BD+C and Jon Macias, RRC, RRO, RCI Construction Moisture Consulting, Inc. will present - Building Envelope Design for Healthcare 1 HSW / LU
