Join us for our annual Adams County Vegetable garden series, a partnership with Brighton Shares the Harvest and CSU's Grow & Give Victory garden project. We'll give you the skills you need to succeed in your vegetable garden whether you're a newbie or a veteran! This years series will have three classes. when you register you will be able access to all classes and attend the ones you choice.
February 6th 10:00am: Intro to Vegetable Gardening
Learn about the basics of getting your garden set up, planted, and growing well.
March 6th 10:00am: Caring for your Vegetable Garden and Tomato Tips and Tricks
Once you’ve got your garden started it’s important to care for it appropriately whether it be fertilization, watering, weeding etc. We’ll also give some of the top tips for everyone interested in being a tomato grower this year!
April 3rd 10:00am: Maximizing Yields, Harvesting, and growing for others
Learn how to manage your garden to maximize your yield and what to look for when you’re ready to harvest. We’ll also have a discussion on what you need to know to prepare your produce for donation, whether it be to a neighbor or a food bank.
